For our members we have designed drop-in sessions offering a digital way to keep you connected and collaborative during these challenging times.  All conversations are moderated by the HO! team & staff.
We offer an input as conversation starter and then the floor is open for your discussions.
Members can join via a link, which will be send out on Tuesday in advance and can be shared within our organisation. If you have not received a link, please contact us.
Additionally, a summary of each online meeting will be available for download in the member zone.

Discussing possible guidelines, safety & hygiene measures and ways to offer safe, yet enjoyable, hands-on experiences.
Including First-hand experiences of organisations, who already reopened.

 

Friday, 5 June, 15:00 CEST –Pandemic-inspired formats: Adapting content of exhibits and programs

Should museums somehow reflect the current situation in the content of their exhibitions and programmes? How can they help children and families to navigate and cope with the new situation?
Sharing thoughts on how to quickly adapt existing exhibits and programs to provide content on the pandemic.

 

Friday, 12 June, 15:00 CEST Post-pandemic Children-centred museum work: Developing Futureproof strategies for 21st century children.

Discussing the long-term impact of the pandemic on children-centred museum work and rethinking current processes and strategies. How could/should a post-pandemic state of the art child-centred museum look like?
Thoughts on museum’s future roles and strategies for programmes, personnel, exhibit design, content and channels.
