The conference is open to all professionals who are dedicated to the learning needs of children. Europe’s only children-focused museum conference aims to explore, collect and share the latest developments and innovations of the sector.

    Your personal data collected in this form will be processed and stored as part of the preparation, execution and follow-up of the Hands On! conference 2019.
    This is solely for the purpose of organising and realising this event. Your data will only be passed on to third parties, who are directly involved in running the event and when the organisational process makes it absolutely necessary (printing conference badges, diet wishes, special requirements, etc.).
    Please note that the conference will be photographed and that some video recordings might be carried out. Photographs and video material will be used on our (Hands On!) and the host’s (Junges Museum) website and on social media pages. Some photos might be used for other digital communication and in any future printed material. Please get in touch with secretariat@hands-on-international.net if you have any questions or issues on this practice.


    Networking is important to us and we aim to maintain an active community. Therefore, a participants list containing first name, last name, institution, country and email address will be disseminated in the course or follow-up to all conference participants.

    Cancellation Policy:
    All cancellations must be requested in writing only to secretariat@hands-on-international.net
    Before 1 August 2019: Hands On! will refund 100% of the payment.
    Between 1 August 2019 and 13 September 2019: Hands On! will refund 50% of the payment.
    After 13 September 2019: No refund will be issued for cancellation.
    *Please note that for organizational reasons, study tours are excluded from our cancellation policy and therefore NOT refundable.
    Paid conference tickets may be transferred to a different staff member within the same organization, as long as our office is notified in advance. For further information contact: secretariat@hands-on-international.net
