The Children in Museums Award Ceremony

Every year Hands On! International Association of Children in Museums and the European Museum Academy shortlist innovative high-quality children’s programs for the Children in Museums Award.

The award is made possible by Mercis B.V.

Part one of the ceremony is a unique chance to learn from the best: The short-listed candidates for the Children in Museums Award 2019 will present themselves and their outstanding projects as inspirational examples of informal learning spaces for 21st century children to the conference participants.

The second part of the ceremony including the winner announcement takes place togehter with members of the public and Frankfurt’s political leaders in the  “Emperors’ Hall”.
